The Resort
Residencial Balcones de Vivi is located in an elevated position with magnificent views over the famous pink salt lakes of Torrevieja. The resort consists of 104 contemporary bungalow style apartments with 2 or 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Phase 1 offers 52 apartments, 28 with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and 24 with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
The clever lay out of the resort means that the apartments look over the central pool area. Here you will find two large communal pools with an integrated jacuzzi set within landscaped Mediterranean gardens, finished with grass and palm trees. The Apartments
These beautiful bungalow style apartments offer either a ground floor model with a large terrace with views over the pools and garden, or a top floor apartment with a large terrace and solarium offering panoramic views over the pink salt lakes. The 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartments are 62m2 and the 3 bedroom 3 bathroom are 70m2.

Leisure Facilities In The Area
Being so close to the magnificent pink salt lakes is definitely a plus point with this resort. Known as the Laguna Salada de Torrevieja, the main lake is one of the saltiest and largest lakes in Europe. The Laguna Salada produces up to 350 grams of salt per litre of water. The lakes produce as much as 700,000 tons of salt a year which is exported abroad. There is a tourist train that you can pick up from the marina that will take you to visit the lakes, you can walk up a salt mountain and experience the beautiful environment and learn all about the history of this amazing area.
Torrevieja has a large marina which is a popular destination for the locals and the visitors. The marina offers a selection of watersports to enjoy such as ski cable, jet boat, paragliding, windsurfing and a jet ski school. Snorkelling is also a very popular activity, making the most of the rocky coves, home to many fish.
This area is also home to two unusual floating museums. The Delfin submarine museum which is a decommissioned naval S-61 class submarine that has now been restored. The other is the Albatross III museum, a de-commissioned customs patrol boat. Torrevieja has an interesting naval history. Travel
To arrive at Residencial Balcones de Vivi Torrevieja in Spain you have two airports to choose from. Alicante International airport is just a 45 minute drive and Murcia Corvera airport is a 55 minute drive. Both carry budget airlines so there is plenty of choice of flight times and budgets. Bus services run hourly from Alicante airport to Torrevieja bus station, and for those without a car you can always pick up a taxi for around 65 euros.
