Villamartin is an urbanisation located on the Costa Blanca South in the province of Alicante. It is perhaps one of the most well-established urbanisations on the Southern Costa Blanca and is known for its fabulous golf course. It comprises several smaller urbanisations all built around a Villamartin Golf Course and a beautiful traditionally Spanish plaza.
Villamartin is located 4 kilometres inland from the coast at La Zenia and just 10 kilometres from the well known and popular coastal City of Torrevieja and so you will never be short of a beach to visit.

Airports

In Villamartin you are also just a few minutes away from the famous La Zenia Boulevard, made up of over 150 shops covering 161,000m2 including local Spanish brands and global brands. You will find a bit of everything here including clothing, electronics, a supermarket, bars, restaurants and even a large play area for the children to enjoy.
Villamartin is also just a short drive away from the coastal city of Torrevieja where you will find all the amenities you could ever need to include hospitals, shopping centres, water parks and much more. Torrevieja is also popular for its nightlife with a good selection of bars and clubs.

Golf
The Costa Blanca South is an area well known for its choice of golf courses to enjoy. You find a great variety to include old and new, big and small, all within easy driving distance of your property in Villamartin.
Villamartin Golf Course itself is now one of the most recognised golf courses on the Costa Blanca. However with several other fantastic golf courses just a short drive away you will never get bored of playing the same course every time. Within just a short drive you have Las Ramblas Golf, Las Colinas Golf and Country Club, Vistabella Golf and La Finca Golf to name just a few.
Beaches
Villamartin is located 4 kilometres inland from the Orihuela Costa at La Zenia and has many stunning beaches within just a short drive.
La Zenia itself offers two main beautiful beaches; Cala Bosque and Cala Cerrada. Both carry blue flag status which means they are known to be safe and clean with good amenities. There is a good selection of bars and restaurants set just off the beach. Both beaches are set in coves where the water is shallow making them a great place for families with children.
Cala Bosque is the larger beach of the two and offers over 27,000m2 of beautiful pristine sand. Although La Zenia is a popular beach destination getting very busy in the summer months it is large enough that there is always still plenty of space.
To the south of La Zenia you will find Cabo Roig, another stunning blue flag beach with a beautiful promenade perfect for a seaside stroll. It boasts a wonderful marina with over two hundred moorings as well as a restaurant next to a beautiful sandy beach attracting people from all over.
Continuing south there are several more stunning beaches all with something unique to offer. You then get to the famous Mar Menor salt water lagoon – just a 20 minute drive from your property in Villamartin. The Mar Menor is separated from the Mediterranean Sea by the famous La Manga strip, a long stretch of land with the Mar Menor on one side and the Mediterranean Sea on the other. The Mar Menor offers more lovely beaches to enjoy with fabulous views overlooking La Manga. The water is much warmer than the Sea and is shallow making it a safe place for a refreshing dip.
To the north of La Zenia is Playa Flamenca, the home of even more blue flag beaches. There are two cove shaped beaches, separated by a promenade and a third more natural, secluded beach.
