Introduction

Benijofar is a small Spanish town located in the province of Alicante on the Southern Costa Blanca. It is just 15 minutes away from the popular town of Torrevieja as well as Guardamar del Segura.

Benijofar is often referred to as´The Pearl`of the Costa Blanca with the word ‘Benijofar’ originating from the arabic translation of ‘Son of the Pearl’.

This small town has grown in popularity with expats and is close to other popular expat towns such as Rojales, Formentera del Segura and Ciudad Quesada. It is popular for those retiring to Spain, relocating permanently and for those looking holiday homes for sale in Spain.

The town is quaint and authentic with plazas, parks and a lovely river running through it. It is also close enough to the beaches and tourist destinations for you to enjoy as well, so offering the best of both worlds.

For those who enjoy golf there are several golf courses nearby which we will discuss below.

Airports
